Purchasing a property is likely to be one of the largest investments you will ever make.
Prior to entering a legal commitment to purchase, the best way to enable you to minimise any potential risks and to make a properly informed decision, is to have your own independent survey.
If you are arranging a mortgage, your lender will commission a basic survey on their own behalf with only their own interests in mind.
Essentially,
it is intended simply to satisfy your lender that the property represents
suitable security for your proposed loan.

Protect Your Investment
Your own independent professional survey will answer questions that will
be very relevant to your long-term interest in your intended property -
such as:
- Is the agreed price reasonable?
- Are there any problems concerning the property - including potential future problems?
Which type of survey should you choose?
We offer two different types of survey, each approved by the Royal Institution
of Chartered Surveyors and the Incorporated Society of Valuers and Auctioneers,
and designed to be appropriate for various types of property purchase.
Homebuyers
and Valuation Survey
The Homebuyers survey is specifically designed to offer more important
and relevant information. The survey report will typically be between 8
and 15 pages, and will comment upon all visible aspects of the property.
Building
Survey
The Building Survey is suitable for all residential properties and provides
a full and detailed report of their construction and condition.
